We've designed The BUS – the Business Uncovered Survey – as a new way to have your views aired and save money on your BU membership.

 

Business Uncovered is often asked by organisations to find out, anonymously, what owner managers and sole traders think about certain issues. BU has a rich and diverse membership, which offers a great opportunity for organisations to take a quick snapshot that will help them design their businesses to be more relevant. Many of them have already helped with BU surveys and we've awarded bottles of bubbly to one member each time as a thank you.

 

Now you don't have to be a member of BU to take advantage of this.  You could be involved and earn money off your membership if you've been thinking of joining!

 

How does it work? It's simple.

 

By agreeing to be part of our survey panel you will receive occasional emails asking you to click on a link to complete a straightforward online survey of typically ten questions. Those who complete a survey before it closes can earn £1 per question answered in credits to be deducted from their membership.

 

So, a ten question survey could lead to £10 credit and ten surveys a year – fewer than one a month – could mean a total of £100 off next year's membership.

 

Our strict data protection policy means that companies sponsoring questions on our surveys will never have access to your details. In fact, if you were to join BU as a member, YOU can ask for a question to be posed on The BUS - and we'll pick one such member to get a free question included in a survey.  And the results can be used by you* the BU member in YOUR publicity campaign.

 

To sign up as a BUS panel member just e-mail us and tell us. You can stop your involvement at any time and you don't need to take part in any survey if you don't want to. In many cases there will be only so many responses needed (say, 100) and we will close the survey when that number is reached, so if you do take part you'd normally answer a survey within a day or two of a link being sent.

 

Remember, a survey will take about five minutes and you'll earn credits towards your membership – it's that simple.
